Automatic piece positioning
The additional module for automatic positioning of pieces in order to minimize waste.
DDXNest is the additional module of EasyWOOD and EasySTONE for automatic positioning of pieces in order to minimize waste.
DDXNest is available in three levels:
- GENERIC SHAPES INTERACTIVE NESTING
- GENERIC SHAPES AUTOMATIC NESTING STANDARD
- GENERIC SHAPES AUTOMATIC NESTING ADVANCED
The INTERACTIVE NESTING allows the operator to do a manual positioning of the pieces using the function of rotation, move, mirror, align, automatic magnet, multiple copy etc.
The AUTOMATIC NESTING does automatic positioning of the pieces. The operator can modify manually the initial positioning or to position some pieces manually and then do the automatic nesting of the other pieces.
DDXNest includes slab store management referring to thickness, material and category. It is also possible to link the realistic picture of the slab to the piece, to define the perimeter and then to mark the area where nesting is not possible.
is true shape, it can manage more slabs at the same time and it can recover the scraps and save them in the scrap store. The scrap minimum dimensions can be set according to the requirements of the end user; it also possible to select one or more pieces just to fill the free place of the slab instead of recovering the scrap.
DDXNest includes panel and slab store management referring to thickness, material and category. It is also possible to link the realistic picture of the slab to the piece, to define the perimeter and then to mark the area where nesting is not possible.
The list of the pieces can be imported as CSV file or defined by choosing some projects, DXF files, parametric components, or simply by creating rectangular pieces with defined width and high. Thickness, quantity, material, label, rotation limits, mirror operation if allowed can be defined for each workpiece.
